Parkir Chor – Chittagong

Parky sea Beach – The name must seem a bit unfamiliar to many. Again, many may know the place. At one time, the beach; meant only Cox’s Bazar and Patenga beach in Chittagong, but this parkir beach (Anwara Parkir Char) is slowly gaining popularity. This beautiful beach is located just one to one and a half hours away from Chittagong city. The lush greenery of Zhaoban on the one hand, and the vast expanse of blue sea on the other will welcome you. And the gentle breeze on the beach will instantly fill your mind with joy.

At one time the road to this beach was not very well developed. But with the gradual increase in the number of tourists, the authorities have repaired the road and made it brighter. Security has also been strengthened. Along with the beach, many shops and food stalls have sprung up in the shade of Zhaoban.

There are also speed-boats for cruising the sea, sea-bikes and horses for cruising on the beach. For this, of course, you have to calculate the fixed fare as per the hour. If you walk along the northern side of Zhaoban, you will see the Bay of Bengal and the mouth of the river Karnafuli.

How to go:

You can go to Chittagong Shah Amanat Bridge or Third Karnaphuli Bridge by bus or tempo from anywhere in Chittagong city. Once you reach there, you will see a bus leaving for the shrine of Battali Mohsin Auliya. However, be careful not to confuse ‘Battali’ with the bus conductor’s pronunciation of ‘Boiltali’. Both are different places. If you want to go to Parki Beach, you have to take a bus to Battali Mohsen Aulia Mazar. This ancient shrine is located in Anwara upazila of Chittagong.

Get on the bus and tell the conductor to drop you off at a place called ‘Center’. The real name of the place is Malkhan Bazar, but it is also known as Center. It will cost 25-30 taka per person to come so far. Get down to the center and you will get CNG to go to the beach. If you reserve it, you can reach Parki beach for 100-150 taka. Before going to the beach, you can take food and other necessities from the center market or from the market adjacent to Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Housing Colony a short distance away. There are some shops on the beach too, but you can’t get everything there. And if you want to reserve CNG from Chittagong city, you will have to pay 400-500 taka directly to Parky Beach.

And for any problem you can contact the Rangadia police outpost near the beach.

Accommodation:

Due to the influx of tourists in the last few years, motels are being set up here on private initiative. Which is expected to be inaugurated soon. However, there is no arrangement to stay here for the time being. So if you want to come to Parky beach, it is best to come in the morning. You will be able to come back with a beautiful memory by watching the sunset.
