Loading...Meghla is an attractive tourist spot of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation located at the entrance of Bandarban town on the side of Bandarban-Keranihat road and 5 km before the entrance to Bandarban district town . Although the name Meghla, Meghla tourist spot has nothing to do with Megh. It is as if a beautiful carpet has been laid on the ground.
A huge lake can be seen from the main gate of Meghla Parjatan Complex. There are boats of different designs in the clear water of that lake. Where you can float in the water at a very low cost. Nothing will come to your ears except the sound of water in the meghla complex. All the colorful boats run on batteries. For this reason, the sound of splashing water will give you a feeling of golden silence.
Three hundred feet high hill after the huge lake. That is why the sound of vehicles moving outside cannot disturb the peace of your senses.
While walking in this pollution free lake, you will see different species of aquatic birds playing. The branches of the tree on the head are touching the water. In all those trees, the wood cats are jumping, the birds are playing and the birds are chirping.
The cable car is swaying over the head while the boat is spinning. At a total length of 1600 feet, the car is able to evoke a thrilling feeling in the minds of the travelers who come from one hill to the other over the lake.
Two hundred feet above the water – will create a great feeling of floating in the air while traveling in a cable car. Cable cars are capable of instilling a little fear in the minds of some people.
In terms of size, the Meghla Tourist Complex is not very big, nor can it be called small. But quite tidy. Surrounded by several small and big hills, this tourist center has a variety of entertainment facilities.
The picnic spot will be in front as soon as you go down the concrete sloping walkway from the main gate. There is an open stage. You can continue educational tours or picnic events without noise pollution.
There is a children’s park next to the picnic spot. There are various arrangements for keeping children intoxicated. The rest house is perched on the lake adjacent to the children’s park. You can sit on the porch and enjoy the moonlit or new moon night.
Then the cool air of the clear water of the lake will make you feel better. Mechanics will not disturb you there.
There are two hanging bridges on either side of the picnic spot. One can cross the mini safari park located on the hill, cross the zoo and cross another bridge.
Aesthetically these hanging bridges are very enjoyable. Swinging like a swing will sway your mind too. When you reach the middle, you will feel that you will fall into the water. But no, even if it’s a little scary, the tight binding on both sides will keep you fine.
The hills are covered with trees. Another interesting thing about the tourist center is the fresh fruit shop. Where you will find papaya, banana, grapefruit, guava, pineapple, Malta absolutely fresh. You can sit on the front bench leaves and fill your stomach with fresh mountain fruits at low cost.

How to get to Meghla Tourist Complex:
There are several buses from Dhaka to Bandarban such as Shyamli , Hanif , Unique , S Alam , Dolphin . These buses leave Kalabagan, Sayedabad or Fakirapul for Bandarban at 10 pm or 11:30 pm. Non AC bus fare is 550 taka per person. AC 950 taka.
You can go to Bandarban from Chittagong. Pubali and Purbani Paribahan buses run from Baddarhat to Bandarban. The fare for these buses is 220 taka per person.
Then from Bandarban bus station to Meghla Tourist Complex local bus takes 10-12 taka per person and taxi reserve 100-120 taka and Land Cruiser, Land Rover and Moon car up to 450-500 taka.
