Loading...Elenga Resort was established in 2008 on a 156.65-hectare area along the Jamuna River, in a rural setting, as a private initiative. The resort is located in the Elenga area of Kalihati Upazila in Tangail District, and that’s why it’s named Elenga Resort.
Located just two hours away from Dhaka, this resort is set in a picturesque rural environment, surrounded by rows of trees and shaded areas. It offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The resort is equipped with modern amenities and includes a restaurant, five VIP AC suites, 10 AC deluxe suites, 16 non-AC rooms, five picnic spots, a conference room, a small museum, and a training room.
For sports enthusiasts, the resort offers facilities for football, cricket, tennis, carom, table tennis, and badminton. There is also a kids’ room for children’s entertainment. Additionally, you can enjoy horseback riding and use the health club. Alongside traditional Bengali food, the resort serves Chinese, Indian, and Continental cuisines. For water activities, there are options for boat rides, including trawlers, country boats, and speedboats. Elenga Resort Charges & Booking System
The resort has a total of 40 rooms, with 32 AC rooms and 8 non-AC rooms. Inside the resort, there are two swimming pools, a gym health club, a massage parlor, a restaurant, a bakery, a bar, and two discos. Room bookings can be made at any time.
For booking, you need to pay 40% of the total rent as an advance. The same rules apply to both local and foreign visitors. Foreign guests must provide a photocopy of their passport when making a booking.
Bookings must be made through the head office. During the winter months (November to March), the resort experiences high demand, and bookings and advance reservations should be made at least 15 days in advance.

- 3-bed AC cottage – 11,000 BDT
- 2-bed AC cottage – 9,000 BDT
- AC deluxe room (2 persons) – 3,600 BDT

Hall & Conference Room Charges:
- Hall Room (120 persons capacity) – 30,000 BDT per day
- Conference Room (50 persons capacity) – 20,000 BDT per day
- Meeting Room – 6,500 BDT per day
- For booking, 80% of the amount must be paid in advance. Bookings are accepted only during the winter season, subject to availability.
Corporate Arrangements at Elenga Resort
The resort offers facilities for picnics, DJ parties, get-togethers, and official events. It can accommodate any type of event with a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 150 people. Event organizers can either arrange for their own DJ party or request the resort to organize the DJ setup. There are also arrangements for listening to folk music, Baul songs, and Jari songs. Additionally, there are provisions for separate cooking arrangements.

How to Get to Elenga Resort:
Elenga Resort is located in the Elenga Bus Stand area of Elenga Municipality in Kalihati, Tangail District. The resort is easily accessible, with various transportation options available. You can travel by bus, microbus, auto, CNG, or motorbike from the Bangabandhu Bridge East Railway Station, which is about 10 km away. All types of vehicles are available for the journey.
