Dim Pahar (Dim Pahar) The highest road in Bangladesh has been constructed at an altitude of two and a half thousand feet above sea level in Bandarban district of Bangladesh. The hill is located right in the middle of Alikadam and Thanchi upazilas of Bandarban. Which is the second highest road in South Asia. This route from Thanchi in Bandarban to Alikadam has gone to Cox’s Bazar, another tourist city. The locals know it as Dim Pahar as it looks like an egg in the shape of a peak.
In this dense monsoon of Shravan, Dim hill area is covered with white clouds. Like the road above the clouds! When they go there, tourists get the experience of touching the clouds in the sky! You will feel as if you are floating on a cloud. White clouds across half of the road will be your companion again and again in the rainy season. Clouds seem to come closer and farther away. Clouds again says that if you lose your way here, it will be difficult to go back!
The Dim Hill area is greener than ever. Mountain flowers of various colors are blooming along the hilly roads. Let the tourists be reminded of the national poet’s song ‘Chhande Chhande Dule Anande Ami Bon Phul Go’. In the midst of the clouds, the sun’s glittering rainbow flowers shine like bright stars! The house below looks like a small toy house and even the sonkho river looks like a snake.
