Originally built to train members of the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, it has now become a popular location for picnics and film shoots due to its peaceful and scenic environment. The academy is surrounded by lush greenery, with an abundance of trees and birds, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and a tranquil getaway.
The academy features approximately 42 picnic spots, each offering a pristine and clean environment surrounded by greenery. These spots are ideal for family and corporate picnics. Whether you are seeking leisure or a break from your hectic work life, the serene surroundings of the lake, the woods, and the shades will captivate your senses.
With permission from the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Headquarters, these spots are available throughout the year. To rent a spot, you must submit a specified amount in the form of a bank draft or pay order, along with the application in their official form. The application forms can be obtained from the Ansar VDP headquarters or downloaded from their website for submission.

- Tapoban & Jui (capacity: 800 people) – Rent: 12,000 Taka
- Malanch & Anand (capacity: 300 people) – Rent: 12,000 Taka
- Chhayanir & Hasnahena (capacity: 400 people) – Rent: 12,000 Taka
- Nilbili Picnic Spot (capacity: 500 people) – Rent: 8,000 Taka
- Pallab (capacity: 400 people) – Rent: 8,000 Taka
- Anannya, Anamika, Shapla, Barnali, Barsha, Tetulia, Banrupa, Abosor (capacity: 300 people each) – Rent: 8,000 Taka
- Tonushree, Tarulata, Bandarban, Bonshree, Bonlata, Madhuban, Soukhin (capacity: 200 people each) – Rent: 8,000 Taka
- Suchona Picnic Spot (capacity: 100 people) – Rent: 8,000 Taka
Each picnic spot includes facilities such as vehicle parking, shade from the sun, water supply, and cooking arrangements.

How to Get There
You can take the Azmeri Globe bus from Sadarghat, Dhaka, to the Ansar Academy Gate. The fare ranges from 80 to 100 Taka.
