Wonderela Green Park – Dhaka

If you suddenly feel exhausted by the hustle and bustle of urban life and want to spend some time in a peaceful, shaded environment away from the mechanical noise of the city, then Wonderela Green Park, located very close to Dhaka, is a perfect getaway.

Wonderela Green Park is located just 48 km by road from Gulistan in Dhaka. Established in 2017, this beautiful park spans 90 bighas of lush green space along the Dohar Road in the Nawabganj area of Dhaka district.

Here, you can enjoy a blend of eco-agro tourism, national heritage park, and a theme park all in one. It is an ideal place for clean, enjoyable recreation for people of all ages—children, teenagers, youth, and even senior citizens.

Amidst the vast green landscape, there are rows of flower and fruit gardens, wide walking paths, water bodies, and plenty of seating arrangements. The park features four distinct picnic spots where you can organize institutional or family tours. The park is equipped with various recreational activities such as a train ride, pedal boats, golden boats, swing chairs, and more.

How to Get There:

From Dhaka Gulistan, you can take a Jamuna Glax, N. Mallik, or BRTA bus heading to Nawabganj.

From Nawabganj, follow the Bandura Road, and you will soon see Wonderela Green Park near the electricity office. Alternatively, you can ask the bus helper to drop you off at Nawabganj Palli Vidyut. The fare for the N. Mallik bus is around 55-65 Taka. If you’re coming from other districts, you will need to reach Dhaka first and then travel to Nawabganj, where the park is located near the electricity office.

Ticket and Entry:

The entry ticket to the park costs 50 Taka. However, if you buy the 100 Taka package ticket, you can enjoy three free rides. Tickets for other rides range from 30 to 100 Taka.

Although there aren’t many food options inside the park, you can find snacks like chotpoti, phuchka, and other light items. If you are visiting with a school, college, or family group for a picnic, you can arrange for food with the park authorities in advance. Be sure to contact them beforehand to make the necessary arrangements.
