From Kuril Bishwaroad in the capital, take the new 300-foot road, cross two consecutive bridges, and you’ll reach Volanathpur. A little further inside from Volanathpur, you’ll find Nokshi Polli. Let me clarify upfront: Nokshi Polli isn’t a tourist spot, it’s actually a restaurant. However, despite being a restaurant, the atmosphere is rural and green, just as the name suggests!
The spaciously designed restaurant is not only great for eating but also an excellent place to visit and spend some time. There is a large pond in the middle, with a wooden path running across it. Around the pond, there are thatched-roof houses with verandas, where seating arrangements are made. The place is perfect for birthday parties, photo shoots, or any other gatherings. You can even take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or a beautiful boat!

How to Get to Nokshi Polli (Purbachal)
From anywhere in Dhaka, you first need to reach the 300-foot road. You can travel by your own vehicle. On the way to Purbachal, you will cross two bridges. The first one is Boalia Bridge, and the next is Balu Bridge. After crossing Balu Bridge, take a right turn where you will see a sign for Volanathpur Graveyard. Follow this path, and you’ll reach the destination. If you don’t have a car, take an auto from 300-foot road, which will cost you 30 Taka per person to reach Balu Bridge. After getting off the auto, walk a little further inside, and you’ll find Nokshi Polli.
