The Three Leaders’ Mausoleum (Teen Netar Mazar) is an architectural structure built on the graves of three prominent political leaders of pre-independence Bengal, located on the north side of Doel Chattar in the Dhaka University area. It stands as one of the remarkable examples of architecture in the capital city of Dhaka, and by extension, Bangladesh. For the new generation, it is also a significant tourist spot. Built in 1963, the mausoleum was designed by architects Masud Ahmed and S. A. Zahiruddin in memory of three eminent leaders—Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, Khwaja Nazimuddin, and Sher-e-Bangla A. K. Fazlul Haq.
How to Reach the Three Leaders’ Mausoleum
You can take any bus from Gulistan and head to Shahbagh. From Shahbagh, you can either take a rickshaw or walk to reach the Three Leaders’ Mausoleum.
