Fantasy Kingdom – Dhaka

Located near Dhaka in Jamgara, Ashulia Thana on the Dhaka-Ashulia Highway, Fantasy Kingdom Park is a well-known entertainment destination in Bangladesh. Established on nearly 20 acres of land, it is the country’s first theme park. Fantasy Kingdom Park features various entertainment facilities such as Water Kingdom, Fantasy Kingdom, Resort Atlantica, Extreme Racing (Go-Cart), and Heritage Corner.

With world-class entertainment services, fantastic landscaping, and thrilling rides, Fantasy Kingdom has become a paradise for entertainment lovers of all ages. One of the most popular rides in the park is the Roller Coaster, which offers a thrilling and exhilarating experience. Other rides include Zip Around, Giant Ferris Wheel, Giant Spanish, Magic Carpet, Juju Train, Santa Maria, Coffee Cup, Bumper Cart, Bumper Boat, Paddle Boat, Water Fall, Water World, Multi-Spider, Doomb Spider, Spider World, Family Pool, Tube Spider, Lazy River, Lost Kingdom, and many more exciting rides. Additionally, Fantasy Kingdom also features rides such as Boomer Car, Sun and Moon, Speedy Way, and Igloo House.

For an exceptional water-based adventure, you can visit the Concord Water Kingdom, which features a captivating underground virtual aquarium tunnel. The Wave Pool, which simulates the stormy waves of the ocean, is one of the park’s most attractive rides. Other exciting rides include Spider World, Family Pool, Tube Spider, Lazy River, Multi-Spider, Water Fall, Doomb Spider, Lost Kingdom, and Dancing Zone. The park also has separate changing rooms and lockers for men and women, and visitors are welcome to bring extra clothes and towels. Towels and swimwear can also be rented at the park.

Heritage Corner

At the Heritage Corner, there are replicas (exact copies) of Bangladesh’s iconic landmarks. These include the National Parliament House, National Martyrs’ Memorial, Lalbagh Fort, Sixty Dome Mosque, Chunakhola Mosque, Kanthajur Temple, Shitakot Vihar, Paharpur Buddhist Vihara, Puthia Rajbari, Greek Memorial, and Ahsan Manzil. Descriptions and histories of each landmark are displayed in front of the replicas.

Fantasy Kingdom Park Operating Hours & Entry Fee

The park is open every day from 10 AM to 9 PM. There are various ticket packages available that include both entry and rides. The entry fee for adults is 380 Taka, for children under 4 feet is 250 Taka, and children under 3 feet enter for free. For the convenience of working visitors, the park remains open on weekly and public holidays from 10 AM to 10 PM, and on other days from 11 AM to 9 PM.

Where to Eat

For dining, there are two three-star restaurants: Ashu Castle and Water Tower Café, offering a wide variety of delicious local and international dishes. Additionally, there are many small food courts spread across the park, offering tasty snacks and fast food. In the park, there is also a gift shop where you can buy a variety of souvenirs.

Where to Stay

To make your trip even more enjoyable, the Atlantis Resort, which is equipped with modern amenities, is located within the park. During your stay at the resort, you can enjoy the scenic beauty and rides of Fantasy Kingdom, Water Kingdom, and Heritage Park. The resort offers four types of rooms: Economy, Deluxe, Super Deluxe, and Suite.

The resort features air-conditioned rooms, cable TV, restaurant, credit card facilities, cyber café, telephone, car parking, laundry service, conference center, and much more. For entertainment, the resort has a Dolby Digital Sound cinema, billiards, pool, air hockey, and various other games. The resort also organizes BBQ nights and cultural events for guests.

Guests of Atlantis Resort also have access to complimentary breakfast and the opportunity to enjoy the rides at Fantasy Kingdom and Water Kingdom.

How to Get There

You can reach Fantasy Kingdom Park by CNG, bus, or taxi from anywhere in Dhaka. There are also bus services like Manzil Paribahan, Wheel Lines, and Hanif Metro Service which operate from areas like Motijheel, Mogbazar, Mahakhali, Uttara, Abdullapur, and Ashulia. The fare is approximately 40-50 Taka. If you wish to travel by private car or microbus, parking facilities for 400 cars are available at the park.
