The Bangladesh Military Museum is dedicated to showcasing the history, heritage, successes, and military activities of the armed forces, including their involvement in the Liberation War and the success of various missions worldwide, along with a collection of weapons and military equipment. The museum was initially established in 1987 at the entrance of the Mirpur Cantonment in Dhaka. Considering the importance of the museum and the demand from visitors, it was permanently relocated to Vijay Sarani in Dhaka in 1999.
